I think Hatton has the speed and workrate to do what DLH should have been doing in the fight. Pacman wont have it so easy against Ricky, that said, I certainly wouldnt bet my house against Pacman ever.

Only thing more comedy than Audrey's boxing was his interview after the fight. The fella's deluded.

what did he say?
Basically it was along the lines of:
"yeah he beat me by one round, I think he beat me by two rounds, but I nearly beat him, I nearly hurt him, im nearly getting there and 2009 will be my year"
I think he was sick of saying 'not the finished article' and 'bad day at the office' - which has been his stock quote for 8 years.
The man is a sack of shit who embodies everything that is wrong with boxing - he is unfit, lazy, doesnt like fighting and only in it to make easy money, trying to beat hopeless blown up middleweights all the time.

Yeah pretty much that - and he also said his jaw was broken or something, and then said that it could be, and then continued to waffle on about how he showed he could still do it.
He's like a big American car. Loads of power, big and loud, but utterly shit to drive.

Lol, I forgot about the jaw thing. Usually when someones Jaw is broken they cant talk properly, he had more rabbit than sainsburys, he would have been more believable if he claimed his arms had fallen off.

Hopefully Hatton and Pac-man get this fight agreed for the new year it will be a good fight but Pac-man will destroy him and it will be free money from the bookies.
Wonder if Pac-mans performance will temp Mayweather back out of retirement prob would be the biggest purses ever.

I wouldn't be so sure. I think Hatton would have taken De La Hoya apart last night. De Lay Hoya looks a spent force, and he would have had a stood a better chance against a fighter who was bigger and slower rather than someone who emphasised his decline.
Pacquiao had the luxury of being able to do as he wanted. De La Hoya didn't really bring anything to the fight offensively. His jab never got going, and he didn't have a plan B. Pacquiao wouldn't have it so easy against Hatton. Would be a brilliant fight to watch though.

I just hope the bookies take the same view as you and make pacquiao slight odds on fav.
His hand speed will cut Hatton to pieces his workrate movement will just be too much. Well thats my view anyway either way it will be amazing fight.

Hatton has the advantage, big time imo. First of all, we now know Pacman can be elusive as well as all action, so he can prepare for both. Secondly, Ricky has a frentic workrate unlike the aged DLH, he also is about as physically as strong as you will find a light weltweight.
The sad fact is, DLH was a glorifed punchbag last night, though Pacman was amazing at the same time.
Wont be an easy fight, but I'll be looking to find a yank sportsbook and be backing Ricky ftw.

Manny is quick but from that fight i can't judge how good he is. He fought a punch bag.
