Ok some of the avatars are obvious, but I find myself plenty of the time, thinking wtf is that and why? So instead of asking in random thread, i thought i would start this.

Mine is Miami Dolphins (American football ldo) ex QB Dan Marino, who was a childhood hero of mine. Imo he is probably the 2nd best QB to ever play the game behind Joe Montana.

So what is yours and why?

Mines a cow, I quite like cows, they're quite cool.  I have a set of these and they are all animated, but they didn't  have animated gif function on here when I put it on.  May give it another go now.

Mine's a running man.  I've started running again in preparation for the London Marathon next April.  So there.

Mine is Thomas The Tank Engine, a character from a popular series of children's books/television programmes.

I was born with the name Thomas, and was given the name 'thetank' while playing in Glasgow one night. I think I joined blonde the next week and used the name.
