Excellent show. A weekly show...on poker...what shall we call it?

It was just a sort of experiment, a one-off. There may, or may not, be others, it just depends on how it is received, & whether an acceptable business model for the Show can be established - somehow, directly or indirectly, the cost of these Shows, indeed everything on Sky Poker, Channel 865 - has to prove it's worth by generating additional revenue to the Site.

Of course, I'd love there to be more stuff along the same lines, but audience reaction, & cost/return equations will decide that.

I thought it was OK, especially for a "first", & improvement can be expected if it goes any further. We shall see.

Either way, I loved doing it, & it was a thrilll to work with Compo again, so it's a Freeroll in my book.

I thought it was the best programme I have watched on skypoker, but alas as I have said before Tikay this is probably a bad sign from the commercial side of things. As i don't represent the right target audience.

I think it is a must for Sky Poker. The club is fine and is very good for general interest sort of things, but Sky Poker really needs a 'UK circuit' sort of show and this one fits the bill. With GUKPT, DTD and all sorts of other interesting stuff going on every week, Im sure there would be plenty of material in 2009.

Plus if it gets Tikay out of the house and he gets an ice cream every week like on the first one, its all good.

It might be a case of "promoting" the typical sky player onto the live scene by Sky running sats/promotions to these live events?
They have the Sky Tour and they did the WSOP sats......which dovetail nicely into a live reporting programme.

Thanks for the feedback. This was a pilot programme and it's good to see that there's interest. The title...we are open to suggestions (I quite fancy "Rate My Fry Up", though "Last Of The Summer Whinge" has a ncie ring to it. We could shoot titles with Tikay sliding downhill in a bathtub). We're scheduling a second showing on Saturday at 2030 and 0030 for those who want to catch it or Sky Plus it. More feedback very welcome.

I guess one thing these programmes dont have, or many poker media for that matter, would be more profiles/features/interviews on up and coming internet players. Obviously you get all the big live pros from these events (And thats also what we want to see) but there are lots of UK online players that would be interesting to do features on players ike Moorman, Chufty, Ben Grundy, Fergus, Andrew Feldman etc.

We all know who Durrr is and some of the US online players, about time we had more on homegrown online players?
