Flushy has been busy in the early levels.

First off he called a raise from David Rudling with only to flop the absolute lot when it fell . MBN.

Flushy led for 700 and was flatted, only for the turn to fall the . Not so nice...

He led again for 1,200, only this time David check-raised to 3.1k. Dempsey's not a folder though and he called...

The river was the so now everything's got there and David snap-bet out 6,625. Flushy said "I can't really pass there" so he called and David mucked his hand.

So Flushy was up to around 31k after that hand and a few more pots later, he played out another cracker...

Simon Trumper popped it up from early position and was flatted in 2 spots before James Dempsey also called.

The flop fell Two Clubs and after Flushy checked, Simon led out for 1025, only to be called by James.

The turn was the and now Flushy led for 3.1k. Simon looked in two minds here but ultimately lifted his stack up and moved in, only to be insta-called by James who held for the 2nd nut flush.

Simon shook his head, ruefully tabling J-J for top set and when the fell on the river, the board hadn't paired, Simon Trumper had been knocked out and Flushy gave him an "unlucky Simon" as he left the table.

That hand makes Flushy the chip leader at this stage with approximately 40k.

Turns out he's not as gorm-less as he looks!

Well done fish.

And the busted Mr Trumper, in happier, less busted times:

An interesting one sees the exit of Michael Denton (it's been a veritable bustfest compared to yesterday - we're still only at the 50/100 blind level)...

On table Andrew Bradshaw (he's quite a talker, and a standerupper etc.) there's been a lot of banter, including another few minutes of hysterical laughter early doors from Martin Green at something Bradshaw did (I overheard the words "Weasel" and "Slowroll") this huge pot somehow developed.

Threeway to a flop, Denton checked in the small blind, mid position raiser Frode Gjesdal bet 675, Bradshaw raised to 1,500, and then Denton ch-re-raised to 3,000 straight.  Eyebrows furrowed on all sides.  Gjesdal passed, and Bradshaw launched into what was basically a monologue:

"What you got?  You show if I fold?"
"Yeah."
"You show if I fold... What've you got Tell me Are you drawing diamonds I call."  All of this without pausing long enough for an answer to come through.

Turn: three diamonds.  Denton bet out 5,000.  Immediately Bradshaw shoved his whole stack over the line.

"I'm committed," said Denton in reply to this, calling all in.  Bradshaw showed his housed-up .
Denton showed .
The river was not an Eight and therefore immaterial.

Good luck Sheriff, chip updates pls!

13,975 exactly 10 mins ago... and in fine form.  Looks at least 45% more awake than the majority of the field.  Mainly talking about Argos and Christmas Shopping and his new hat, though (we like the hat).

As a special treat for everyone at the Vic today, we are honoured with a rare wild sighting of an endangered species, the lesser cardiganed Devil Fish. He was most recently spotted calling a bet from Mohammed Zahour on a flop. Both players checked the turn and when Zahour checked the river too, Devilfish bet 1.3k. Zahour called. Devilfish turned over ... and was delighted to discover that he was beating Zahour's . "Fucking hell, I thought I was bluffing!" said the Fish. "Taxi!"

Adam Stoneham looks happy:
