ok - I've taken a pic showing some of the new flooring laid, some of the old flooring still down on the other side, and some of the strippped floor in the middle - something for everyone! I'll put it up later after I've put Hannah to bed (she's staying up for x-factor  ) |

Are you insane, your putting down flooring yourself when the landlord would have to pay someone to do it eh  I would rather pay then do it myself but since you wouldn't even have to pay???. [ ] I'm not lazy PS PMSL at the asbestos scare nh wp cia  |

over 2/3 done now. Bit ropey round the edges, but I'm quite pleased with myself anyway. Matt's back tomorrow after being away for a couple of days. I wonder how long it will take him to notice?

If the edges are a little ropey and you should do this any way, Use a clear silicone all around the edges (skirting boards and kitchen units) you might want to get someone who knows what they're doing to do it because if it is done wrong it can look terrible but when done right it really finishes it off well

cheers. The wall edges are fine, it's just the edges by the units that are a bit dodge, and you can only really see them if you are on the floor  |
