Having wanted to play this tournament but originally thinking I would be unable to do so for reasons beyond my control, I now find myself able to play but not able to afford the buy-in, hence my staking proposal (template thoughtlessly stolen from Kinboshi).

The Tournament

DTD £300 + £30 on Friday 5 December (part of the Anniversary weekend).

10,000 Chips, 45 Minute Clock

The Proposal

I'm asking for a 100% stake for 80% equity.

In other words, I'm asking for £330 (in 5% chunks) and in return stakers will get their share of 80% of any prize money I manage to win.  I will therefore keep 20% of the winnings for my efforts. I am aware that this is a higher percentage than other people are offering, and this is because I don't really have a track record of big buy-in live comps and could be seen as more of a risk to potential stakers.

Track Record

The only tournament I have played that had a bigger buy-in live was the GUKPT Heads-Up Championship, and despite losing in the first round to John Kabbaj, I feel that I held my own at that level and other players agreed at the time. The only other tournament of note that I played in was a 100 Euro freezeout in Ireland last year, and I bubbled that when losing a crucial race with A-10 vs my 9-9.

I also tend to play a lot of Deep Stack tournaments on Poker Stars and have recently run very well, making a FT and cashing 6-7 times in the last 10-12 of these tournaments.

Interested

Please PM me or post on here if you're interested.  Money can be transferred via blonde/PokerStars/bank transfer or in person if you prefer.

Nice looking proposal Wink

I'd stake you if I had the cash - I'm sure you'll get enough takers anyway.

Couldn't you just use the cash you've got from your staking?

You'd be more likely to get a return for your money that way Grin

I'd take some if I was flush - good investment for those with a bit of cash imho.  Good luck thumbs up
