Looking for analysis on the following hand. Read on opponent was that he limps too often with hands he should be raising with, post-flop he is solid. Stats are 24/14 over 540 hands. Stacks are roughly 100 euros each.

opp calls I call in the sb with  bb checks.

Pot (3 euro)

Flop

 two spades

I bet 2, opp raises to 6.75, I pop it up to 17 opp calls

Pot (37 euro)

Turn

I bet 24 opp calls

Pot (85 euro)

River

I check opp puts me allin for my remaining 65 euros call or fold?

Fold or raise pre

FYP.

Flatting into an unopened pot is evil..even if it is making up from the SB.

I just wanted to point out that flatting or making up is evil...

I fold here most of the time as well.

fold pre? how?

i make up the sb 100% of the time here

there are a lot of hands from how you've described him that have the in and it has sort of played like that

bet the river though, check calling and check folding are both kind of bollox here though after you check im leaning towards folding

Plz never fold pre here.

If the player is pretty solid you should probably pass now - we're not beating anything. Looks like he is either calling with a set or Ace of spades - any decent player mucks almost any other hand to ur flop re raise

Why are we calling pre for ,yeah it's discounted but what flop do we want to see with such a junk hand like K4 sooted yeah mbn to flop a flush but not likely.Board comes k high and we have a shit kicker so either win a small pot or get ourselves in a world of trouble in a big pot against a possible better king all because we didn't want to give up our small blind ? Generally calling here just leads to us folding on most flops so we are just wasting 1/2 blind everytime we do this.

I usually call pre-flop in this situation think its close ev wise. Opponent had a set on the flop for a full house

There's several advantages to making up the sb here.

We can pick up lots of pots on raggedy flops even when we miss. If the flop comes king high it doesnt necessarily mean we're behind.

At these limits theres so many people who will misplay hands and happily stack off 100bbs with hands like on boards like   when we've invested half a bb more getting a great price pre with our .

Discussing whether it's viable to make up in the sb is totally  irrelevant to this hand since we will hardly ever flop a flush, personally i just fold if you want to play k4 soooooted that's fair enough but personally for me it's going in the muck

The pot has been opened.  There is a caller already.  If its unopened I agree, fold or raise (Id probably raise more often than not) but surely you'd never raise here after a limper?
