Despite the fact my returns would have been significantly greater had Free World (lucky 63 on McCoys mounts) won today I'd like to mention the extraordinary performance of the horse who beat him,  Araldur who showed a lot of guts to battle back and cross the line first after looking well held after they jumped the final fence. I have no complaints about the performance of Free World either and for a Novices Chase it was an excellent performance from the first two, I think both of these are well worth following.

[ ] Free world was a good price today

[ ] Free world will be a good price in the future.

Paul Nicholls is an awesome trainer..and has some top class horses...Hell, some of them are machines....BUT..if he says he likes a horse it means it will start at even money next time out...it's nice to watch his horses but they are not backable in some  races. (unless they are proven like, Kauto, Denman, Masterminded etc...but then their price will be really short)

All good points.
Masterminded was really impressive today. Saw him at the Festival and was hugely impressed, glad to see him back to form. Hopefully he'll go on to be an all-time great. Probably never be racing at a backable price again though.

nothing comes close to him if he's fit and the races don't come too soon for him....awesome animal...Paul Nicholls is an amazing trainer...if you look at the horses he has it's simply stunning.
