Dont know If anyone is interested but I got a text 2 mins ago from a mate who lives in Brum. He is involved with horses on a day to day basis.

He ahs been told that the favourite in the 3.10 at wetherby WONT WIN.

Its called Manbow by the way. Lay it - DONT BACK IT

He is very rarely wrong

he has just said that it wont win - Im not saying anything dodgy is happening, just saying he has been told it wont win, and he is rarely wrong.

As long as it doesn't win I dont care what finishes in front of it

I dont like laying horses unless they are like 1.3 or something :scaredlook:

I watched some horse race a bit back on tele and the fav dropped to the back with not far to go.  On  the tele they said someone on the exchanges had jsut layed it for 50k.   Needless to say that it then changed gear and romped it (good comeback actually) and the bloke lost about 300k just like that.

1.36 on betfair for 2 or more goals in the porto game.

I think that is better value than the 1.51 available on Porto.

Rangers are utter rubbish at the moment though and 1/2 is a good price.

Apparently they have their eye on a new Chinese striker though so they may improve.  "Win Wan Soon"    Cheesy

right,

for those bettin on the porto game.a form on the 2 teams from the first game...Porto murdered rangers in a posession and chances type way and got beat 3-2. The main reason for that was that porto couldnt defend for toffee.
Rangers were poor but got stuck in and got 3 goals from effectively rank defending and direct football. Rangers also defended like a seive.
Prso is out for this game and he has been single handedly rowing the boat for them.
1/2 is a decent price BUT and i do mean But defences will most likely not be on top so there may be goals and incident...although rangers are playing with jeffers and Thompson up front so that will blunt their threat.
Porto need to win so should ..

I heard an interview on Talk Sport on Monday night with some guy from a newspaper up in Glasgow - he said Porto are the biggest certainties for this game.  Apparently Rangers have won 2/14 games in the pub league and champions league, and have not scored in 9 of them!  Plus Rangers have 4 strikers out inc. Prso.  I was gonna back it at just over 8/13 and look to lay it off today as it was bound to get slashed when the team news came out in the general media but didn't get round to it with other committments.  Porto are an excellent bet at 1.5 though - they need to win as well.
