The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Some good answers yt, and your getting very inventive!  But still not right.

Here's a clue.  He didn't have an ace or a picture card.

Was that when you threw up on the table? thought that only happens online.
I hope he wasn't smug about it?

I sat there in disbelief for about 20 seconds and somehow managed to get my coat and stumble to the bar area.  It wasn't the beat that got me, it was the horrific call through all the streets - I wouldnt expect that in a 5 quid rebuy.

When I flipped over the aces he said 'I thought you had aces' which made me even more puzzled when he showed his 4 high with a gutshot.  He then proceeded to ask the dealer for a 5 which he obviously thought rude not to oblige with...

My mate said he would have smacked him but I had enough composure to walk away!

WHAT A  FISH

Was that your guess of his hand Nemesis?

Yeah what with the advent of camera phones etc it would be easy to name and shame people easily enough on forums!

Maybe a rogues gallery although that would be harsh and slightly naughty!  He was some local 60 years old ish Brummie who knew some people on the table.
