Just seen it on BBC, he is from Waterlooville ... just down the road, he must have heard the same local radio sports bulletin as well.

something must have happened in the last 15mins...he is now out to 3/1 to be a Zenit player tomorrow and 1/4 to be an arsenal player

But Dan I took your advice and lumped on at 5/4

Sorry Ralph, I had a bet too if it makes you feel any better.

This is one of the weirdiest transfers I have know Arsenal involved in, normally we keep things very under wraps right until the last minute. Lets just hope we land him in time.

On a seperate issue, what do Spurs fans think of resigning all of thier old players. Im not just saying this as an Arsenal fan and other people talk about it but it is almost as though Spurs have become a bit of a laughing stock in this transfer window.

Gutted.

The most overrated player on earth. Berbatov made Liverpool pay us £18million for him. If it wasn't for Berbatov, we would have sold him for half what we got.

I bet Defoe is as gutted as me. He left spurs because of Keane and went back because Keane joined "his boyhood club". The fat Spanish waiter realised that it was a bad idea buying Keane going on two performances against Lolpool last season and wanted rid asap.

Bear in mind Arshavin has one of the mouthiest agents going - he never missed a trick to keep the potential Arsenal transfer in the news.

Seriously Nem, I honestly think that getting Keane back is a great move ... AND Bent scoring 2 at the weekend might mean we get a price for him ... fk knows what we will get for Pav though !
