Go to a Loan-Shark? Never. NEVER ever, do that.

Legit credit is everywhere, mountains of it. You just need to commit fraud to obtain it.

FYP

[X] I love to overuse 'FYP'

Most of us have been a little economical with the truth in these mattrers at some stage in our lives. Better than going to a Loan-Shark. ANYTHING beats that!

Youre welcome. I'm fine & dandy, thank you, & yeah, I've had the odd result, I keep out of trouble like, in my own little way.

There are...erm...less reputable loan companies out there (who only lend money to poor people at a ridiculous rate and stop by your house to collect and stuff)..that won't break your legs if you don't pay up and don't charge 300%+ interest..

Don't go to a loanshark...really..it's a seriously bad idea.

From moneysupermarket.com:

http://www.everyday-loans.co.uk  Typical APR 65.4%

And this one is so close to being perfect:

http://www.flmloans.co.uk Typical APR 42.6%

They both suggest that if you have a job and can breathe, you're in.

Well if he wants the dough bad enough, maybe he needs to compromise. Everything has a price.

Cheers Longines, Both require gaurantors i have already applied with flm but for a 2k loan they want 36 repayments at £100 so will total £3600 minimum plus a £200 admin/processing fee. This is the reason i'm trying to go down the shark route coz i wont have to pay anything upfront and most of them only charge 50% so if i borrowed 2k would have to pay back 3k which i can live with. Thanks though.

50% annual interest in convenient monthly payments? Seriously, if you that's all a loanshark charges you as yearly interest you know some of the nicest loan sharks in the business.

Yup, & their Terms & Conditions are written on this. It's in very small writing, but don't worry, you get a close-up view pretty soon.
