Whatever happens its going to be brutal.. Durrr is definately playing in his preferred conditions, but he was bound to get takers by laying the price he is..

Awesome viewing either way.. Wouldn't want to call it

From foxwoodsfiend.........

A lot of people are asking in comments what I think about durrrr’s challenge that he’ll play anybody 50k hands at 200/400 or higher and that he’ll lay 1.5 million to win 500k that he ends up winner. Specifically, people are asking whether I or anybody in Team Israel plans on playing him. Basically, my thoughts on the challenge are:
1) I think that given the 3:1 sidebet, there are some (but not many) people who are +EV vs durrrr. I won’t get into listing who I think these players are, but I will say that I think the number is maybe 10 or so players who are +EV.
2) I don’t plan on playing him. The stakes are too big and after Rail Heaven I don’t have that much $ online right now. The thought of playing 50k hands heads-up against a top poker pro is not particularly appealing. It’s very grueling, the swings would be insane, and the edge (if any) is never as big as you think it is. Maybe if I grind 25/50 and 50/100 for a few months and make a half a mill or so and I’m getting no action anywhere I’d consider taking him up on it, but I highly doubt I’m going to.
3) I think if they play no-limit, durrrr’s a favorite over both Phil Ivey and PA. Ivey I wonder about his ability to 4-table while still playing his A game, and PA’s style I think is a really bad matchup against durrrr’s.

this seems like a great idea for durrr, now he can get constant 4 table action at his preferred game against players he has an edge over playing in those conditions. let the millions roll in, fair play to the cocky little fucker.

It sounds as if PA and DB (if he plays) will play PLO anyway, I don't think anyone knows what Ivey wants to play yet. I'm not sure he's a fav in PLO but it will be close.

New interview video with him on the beach on pokertube. Bit of ambiguity about whether or not Benyamine has accepted

Apparently PA and Ivey have accepted but cant play straight away.  Ivey has other things he has to do or somethign before starting the challenge and PA sas he'll need some time and even then, due to having a kid itll have to be a series of shorter sessions until the 50k hands.  Benyamine hasnt officially accepted but is supposedly interested (probably trying to get staked).  Its said that if he does accept he will get the 1st shot since Ivey and PA cant play immediately.
