You're bringing quite a few academy players through, and you have a strong enough squad.  Better to have the injuries now than at the end of the season though.

Was really looking forward to this season, but again it looks like Nobby is having problems.  I think he'll have to go unfortunately.

Almost fell off my chair when I saw the result in the paper.
At least Fernando saved you in the Football.

Watching the cas vs wigan game I was suprised how many home grown young players cas had and played well.

The weekly league show on sky sports pointed out that Wigan needed to bring more through the ranks instead of getting quick fix oversea's players that will bugger off after a year or two.

We sell all our young players on.  Robinson, Brown, Briscoe, Wild, Aspinwall, etc.  Instead we buy second-rate Aussies.

I'm going to watch the game next week at the Quins.  I hope that Noble isn't the coach by then, and I can't see us winning.  So I'm looking forward to it...

Apparently Ainscough was outstanding on his Superleague debut for Wigan.  Why Noble hasn't played him before is a mystery, as he's always shone in the reserves and academy teams.  When Phelps is fit, Ainscough will probably be left out of the side again.

My Mother in Law went - we didn't let our 2 boys go as it was a fair trek.
Saints were poor from what I can tell but at least you enjoyed the day.

I knew this would be bumped ;-)
