My friend used one called Centuar where you actually give them your money and they bet with it for you. He put in £6000 (they keep £1000, bet with the rest) and got a return at the end of the year of £14000.

Largely down to the fact they accidently put his entire bankroll on one bet rather than the 'never more than 5%' system they claimed. He cashed out and didnt renew his subscription.

I am on a mailing list for one, which is free with the idea that you subscribe for more tips. Basically every week I get an email saying 'back chelsea'

Why pay for tennis bets? You only need a tiny amount of research i.e. check results of tournies, to get a very good idea of who will win. It's the same few winning all the time.
Can't believe all the mug punters who backed Murray just because the bookies made him favourite.

Excellent points, just rather a shame you didn't clue us all up earlier..

Why wtf?Huh?
All British bookies took a tonne of bets on Murray, who never warranted his favourites tag. But there are plenty of patriot mug punters. Just look at footie bets on England over the years

I agree he didn't warrant being favourite but punters didn't back him simply cos he was favourite - that's what I was wtf-ing about.
