Any ideas I think I have exhausted my avenues searching. Must be close to the Gros Casino and a 1 night stay not the required 2 as most ask. I refuse to pay the cheapest I have found which is just under 90 as will only be in room a short period, well hopefully if I stay in game.

The Royal Station Hotel is midway and walking distance between the two casinos.
Make sure you get a corner room overlooking the townside rather that the train-tracks for less noise and more space.
If memory serves it was room# 319 that I had and it was excellent for around £60 pn.

Went down awhile ago and dont remeber any cut price hotels. Could turn up on the day and can see what you can get them down to but run the risk of places been booked up. Cheapest I saw was £78 for a double here
