I think any two will work together, as long as the resolution is set the same...

Best Solution:
Two monitors of the same size and native resolution with DVI connections and a graphics card with 2 DVI outputs.

Next Best:
Two monitors of the same size and native resolution with DVI + VGA  (or VGA only) connections and a graphics card with 2 outputs (can be 2 VGA, 2 DVI or a mix of both). Just need to use a DVI/VGA adapter as cambo has already done on his setup.

Next Best:
Two monitors of the same size and native resolution with DVI + VGA  (or VGA only) connections and a graphics card with 2 outputs (can be 2 VGA, 2 DVI or a mix of both). I’ve yet to use a graphics card that has 2 outputs that does not have the facility to set up two monitors with different resolutions (not saying that there aren’t any out there though).

Next Best:
Only one monitor but two times the usual amount of Stella (or whatever your preferred tipple is) which will result in a multi tableing experience where your good sessions are really good and your bad sessions.............  well you know where that’s going.

GL  with the new setup
