they have a manager that doesnt have a clue about winning the prem ... he is the reason Liverpool arent seriously challenging Utd.

Too many wank team selections ... And a team that cannot play without Gerrard.

Going from 4th to 2nd in one season is a good step forwards (if we finish 2nd). No team has ever gone from 4th to Champions since the prem began. To be blunt, it's not possible in today's game. Every new winner has been 2nd the year before they win it.

Starting to agree about some of the team selections though.

You honestly believe the current Liverpool team could beat Man U or Chelsea next year over 38 games? Personally i reckon big additions are needed to get close.

We blatantly need decent additions or we'd be top, but the spine is there and we're much better vs the top teams this season.

I think Chelsea are on the decline and most of the league takes points off each other. The ONLY stand out team is Utd with depth as well as quality. We've played badly for all of the season bar a few games and we're second. Closer to the top side than ever before at this stage.

We're playing well within ourselves right now. If we outdid ourselves we'd go very close. We also need cover for the likes of Gerrard and Torres. Utd have cover everywhere. The biggest factor in us being 2nd is the money needed to bridge the gap.
