Andrew, talk me through the shirt

As I said at the time, my shirt was our one victory of the day.

normally wears loud shirts, but because mine was particularly special they made him wear a horrible plain green one instead which he didn't like.

Went to Luton tonight.  Was chatting on phone to 'boshi just before game started and bloke came up to me and went 'ha ha'.  I now know how annoying it must be to be a famous person with a catchphrase!

weird timing this - Matt and I were watching the quiz programme that was on immediately before and I was getting all the answers right that they were getting wrong.  He said it was a shame I didn't do that on eggheads!  I still maintain that their set of questions in the final round was way easier than ours (i.e. I knew all their answers)
i still maintain that giving a  question about family marriage to a team containing a relative of the royal family is unfair.

You're right, although I only know that after wikipedia-ing talc - I always thought it was a sedimentary calcium carbonate form, but it a metamorphic silicate. Well well well, I learn something new every day.

I'd have got cement, BTW Smiley.

I'd have got ha-ha too, for that matter. But not Asquith. And I'd have got first cousin without any of the Egghead showboating too. Well known fact that, surely?

I just couldn't think of any powders, other than cocaine - and I didn't think it was that.

They asked us to expand on our answers to pad it out- but then when they show it they actually cut out loads of the questions that were asked.  It looks like that question was the first sudden-death one between me and Kevin - but it wasn't.  Cement was sooooo obvious though.
