Sorry guys, I'm going to have to give this a miss now, an unexpected household expense to the tune of £800 has left me busto for Cheltenham before a race is run. Sad

as there is only 10 of us what are peoples views regards distributing the prize money?

im favouring scrapping the daily winner and having just a prize for the top 3 overall, what do u guys think?

"scoring will be on a basic profit/loss basis using each horses starting price , based on 2pts win or 1pt e/w on each race. the person with the best profit/loss each day and overall will be declared the winners.

for example each race you have a loser in your total will go down 2pts if you have say a 4/1 winner for your 2pts win you will be +8pts  for that race"

Not menaing to confuse things, but just to clarify how the scoring going to work... if you deducting 2pts for every loser, shouldn't you get your stake back on top of any winnings... so in your example above a 4/1 winner should be +10 (including your stake back)

And if you back say a 10/1 shot ew and it comes placed, the return would be +2.5 (3.5pts minus 1pt that loses on the win portion)

you are getting your stake back because you dont get -2 for the race you win so instead being -2 if u get a 4/1 winner u get +8 a swing of 10
and 1pt ew @10/1 on a place will give u -1 for the win part then +2.5 for the place so your total would +1.5 instead -2 if it didnt place so a swing of 3.5 overall

hope that makes sense ;-)
