Hey James,
Nice start. Do the Hu games take a while to fill on PH? It's just i imagine that by the time you've scoped some1, even if it only takes 20 seconds the game might fill. Must get annoying when that happens if they're a suitable opponent.
LOL yeah this is very frustrating, and a definite downside of this method. But it hasn't happened too much, I'm pretty quick off the mark, and I'm keeping a "play or don't play" list for quick reference and to learn who the fish who keep coming back are
Tbh I've never done this before, I've always sat in games, but you always end up playing a fair proportion of games against regulars.
My win-rate w/out this method has been around the 55% mark so far this year. I've hit 67% in this v.small 31 game sample, but it's enough to make me want to experiment more with it!

Was flying today, got the roll up to almost €1700 early doors, but then lost 6 matches in a row after getting repeatedly gayed. Rallied back though for a reasonable profit for the day. Still employing the same method as yesterday, and I'm happy with how it's working out so far...

Didn't get to play much today, but ran ridiculously good. A lot of showdowns went my way. Although I don't remember sucking out more than a couple of times, I ran especially good in 60:40s, which is important when you're playing donkeys cos although you often get your money in good, it's not always that good...
Variance has to kick in sometime soon. I'm on a 24.5% ROI so far which is just sick. 8.5% is what I'm on for the year so far. Perhaps this "pick and choose" method has a little something to do with it, but obviously still way above expectation. Here's hoping that continues!!

I'm afraid variance has finally kicked in which led me to an effectively break even day. Ran gross in the €50s but then again won all the €40s I played. Just got unlucky in the odd spot here and there else things might have gone well.
I did break the bankroll rules today. I just felt I had to play these uber-fish that were sat on the €75 tables. I hope you'll trust my judgment on this one. I won't make a habit of this. If I say I can only lose a maximum 2 buy-ins on these games while my bankroll is around this mark, I hope that's okay. Feel free to keep an eye on my
Sharkscope
to ensure I don't get out of line.

Bankroll rules:
I am only intending to play Heads-up STTs on this account throughout, no cash games
I may play the occasional MTT with the same buy-in guidelines as for heads ups, but I stress this will only be the random one to break up the monotony! Obv backers get the same cut..
At the beginning of each individual game, I must meet these requirements:
Buy-in: Required Bankroll:
€10+0.50 Any
€15+0.75 €200
€20+1 €400
€25+1.25 €600
€30+1.5 €900
€40+2 €1200
€50+2.50 €1500
€75+3.50 €2250
€100+4.50 €3000
If I digress from these rules, which you should be able to monitor on Sharkscope, everyone will be entitled to full stakeback, plus whatever rakeback they are owed.

Sorry have been busy today and have thus been unable to play.
With DTD 300 tommorow night and hopefully Sunday too, plus a voyage to London on Monday evening things might be a bit slow over the next few days. Will make up for it next week as best I can. If I miss too much action I could always extend this by a few days, but I'll see how things go after this short 'down-time' phase...

Actually did end up managing to play a fair amount today after a couple of games on Saturday. Has been a frustrating day really, ran bad on show-downs when I was a big favourite (overpairs/dominated aces and such), but I hadn't had too much of this up til now so it's to be expected. Guess the great start has caught up with me and I've now plummeted to a more realistic 10% ROI.
