Here he is...

Sorry, wrong photo, this is him, replicating a scene from a David Attenborough episode. How can he possibly yawn amid all this excitement?

Alan Vinson -- 24,000

William Martin has bitten the dust, queens versus aces. Colin Hotchkiss was the man responsible.

Also gone in a big hand versus big hand showdown is Neil Channing, kings losing out to Derek John Miller's A-K on a 5-6-6-A-5 board, all in preflop.

Tom Nightingale is out, although he was poker and prodded by the Poker Gods prior to his exit. All in with Q-T versus the A-9 of Paul Gourlay, Nightingale spiked top pair on a Q-5-8, but ultimately lost out to an seven turn and six river for a runner runner straight. Gourlay was similarly short-stacked, however, and so only jumps up to 19,000.

Initially missing, presumed lost, brother Tom confirmed the demise of Stuart Rutter. "Paul Parker pushed from the cut-off for 8,000 with T-5, Stu called in the big blind with A-K, but Parker hit a full house. Stu only had 9,000 at the time." I can only assume the 1,000 went in the following hand, and with final nail results.

Yep, Gourlay is out I'm afraid. He ran A-K into Mad Turk's jacks which hit a set on the flop.

Sorry, just looked at this again and realised that it could be taken the wrong way. Apologies, totally unintentional, was just comparing the facial expression.

Just to elaborate on the Gourlay/Turk hand, it was all in preflop, Mad Turk making the final call with . Gourlay had . "Keep it nice and high," requested Gourlay, and although it was nice and high, it wasn't quite high enough as the first card out was the knave. The had Gourlay praying for a flush draw, and he got his wish as the turn came . "Diamond" exclaimed Gourlay, emulating the annoying insurance advert. "No diamond," repsonded Turk, not emulating the annoying insurance advert. In the end, it was the latter who triumphed, the giving him the pot, and Rocket Man the door.
