Hopefully teach her a lesson not to steal cars. This could have actually done her a favour.

It would be nice to give some of the youth in this country a kicking
in the cells rather than some magistrate giving a fine. I'm sure it would deter them
at an early age away from crime.

That absolutely has to be a level right? Viciously attacking a fifteen year old girl is an infinitely worse crime than stealing a car and is very unlikely to act as a deterrent. It is much more likely to result in her having even less respect for authority imo.
