6 card omaha deepish - Simple yes or no

5 5 DC. Playing 6 card omaha.

Sat with about £750

Everybody calls an EP raise of £20. Fair amount of action ends with a guy going all in.

I'm the only other player in the pot and there's about £1350 in there.

I've got a Q high flush which I'm 95% certain is dead as the betting tells me he has the nut flush. This guy does not commit his stack with the bare ace ever so unless he's had an epiphany of some sorts I know I'm behind. However I've got a set as back up so I've got outs.

There's 1 card to come. It's going to cost £350 to call. We're about 22% I think but we've obviously already committed a lot of our stack. Should we factor in what we've already committed or just forget about that and concentrate purely on the pot odds which make it a pass although only just.

So there you go. Do we call? Yes or no?

If you're getting just under 4 to 1 on a call and you are sure you are at most slightly under 4 to 1 to hit, I guess you should cool. But it looks like you're only just getting the odds, so you have to be pretty certain he doesn't have a higher back-up set as well?

I've discounted this already. I think with a bigger set and nut flush draw he jams the flop. If for some reason he hadn't done this I can't see why he shoves the turn with the nuts + redraws with others in the pot who clearly have hands and are likely to bet.

If you were getting a slightly better price it's a must call then.

But when it's this close I think you're allowed to go on gut feel.

got in a similar spot recently and it was 6 card omaha too. i called and lost but happy with the call.

It was a while ago so can't remember exactly.

Pre flop went something like utg raises pot to £20 4 callers button shoves his short stack of £90ish. 3 callers means there's about £400 in the pot. I've got bottom set and Q high flush draw on a 456 board, 2 spades.

I check from SB. Someone bets £100, cut off calls, I raise to £300. This is my mistake, I should jam here.

Turn comes another spade. I check, cut off moves in.

There's almost no way he doesn't do this without the nut flush. Why else would he call the £300 flop raise?

There's a small chance he has top set with the bare ace and is hoping to take it down but I doubt it.

So basically it comes down to the odds. £350 to win approximately £1350 but we need the board to pair.

Sorry if the numbers don't add up quite right but it was a few weeks ago now and I can't remember exactly.
