It doesn't matter what you say they'll already have decided what they're going to write.

You need to become a journalist and write the article yourself then.

It is likely the journalist already has the thing half written, and what you say in the interview will have very little affect on the direction of the finished piece.

You want to tell the truth? Are you sure your a pro player?
Just tell how it is: you love the game, meet polite and friendly individuals who have pleasure in you taking their money, and you are minting it.

Tell us the name of the publication and the journalist, and we will write the interview before he does. Cheesy

Headline will be

"Scottish Man is degenerate gambler"

Story will go on to say how internet poker has cost you friends, jobs, a life etc.

Best to just tell you how it will be, that way you can prepare yaself Wink

Lol, truth is we've generally barely finished preparing the questions before we interview anyone, let alone written half of it! Also after a couple of questions the subject says something far more interesting and we run with that angle rather than asking most of the questions we've prepared!

Although to be fair most player profiles of UK players go a little something like this...

- discovered poker by watching Late Night Poker
- played a few home games with mates lost in the beginning
- slowly got better by reading a book or having more dedication than their friends
- played a few casino tournaments, ran well
- eventually win something big
- profit?
