just a thought Kev, and don't know if you can do it on ipoker, but would it be possible for the sats to be short-handed to reflect the event we're trying to qualify for?

i have set the feeder entry to run with 8 players, but due to buy in requirements, the super sat is 10 seat tables. |

Kev perhaps isn't the best person to ask about what comps Party Poker are doing, he doesn't work for them. For what it's worth, I don't think Party are running any online satellites, although they are the sponsors of the main event.
The satellite Kev's trying to organize would be on the blondepoker site, where he's trying to find 10 women who want to pay $300 each and play together for the chance of a seat. You might be interested in that one, Kev would give you more details I'm sure.
