Opinions Please,

30 BUYIN + 1 REBUY OR ADDON - 5 Prizes

44 players, 14 left

antes 600 and 1200

Me 39k
Villian 32k - has been calling raises with poor cards and getting lucky

Me - mid position  off - raise to 4k
Villian flats from BB, kind of expected it

Flop

Villian checks - I bet 6k - called

Turn -

Villian checks - I figrue him for an ace maybe flush draw, but pretty sure weak ace, I stick it allin, he calls for his last 22k
flips over

River

I am not moaning about the beat, hes not that big a dog. Just want to know if I could/should have played the hand differently.

Cheers

Jambo

I personally would have open raised less, normally around 2.5x. Something like 2800 is fine here.

Helps you control the pot a lot more and may stop you from having to play an all in pot with a marginal holding like KJ

Pass KJ pre.

Dont thhink there is anything wrong with the Bandit. Just feel its a little bit tight at this stage. I also knew the next two players were folding, as they had there cards ready for mucking.

You got it all in when you were in good shape with one card to come. The hand was therefore played well. Whatever you raise pre the result would have been the same. So when Alex says wp he is correct. Now, the question you ask could have been answered comprehensively if we stop and ask it on the turn. The fact that you posted the wholly irrelevant river card means that when Alex fines you 50p he is again correct. While you state you are not complaining about getting beat the fact that you posted the river card suggests to any neutral that you are. This could be inner turmoil about the hand that you're not consciously aware of or something. Whatever it is it's worth 50p imo. I don't think you can dispute a fine once issued so you just gotta pay it I think.

Why did you post the results then, they are not relevant to the analysis of the hand.

I would raise less pre and the rest is fine.

Superb bit of analysis. 50p definitely due.

As already said by others. Raise less pre.

Once you've got 2 pair this short you need to do your utmost to get everything in the middle which you managed so no problems with the play at all.

Not quite sure what can be analysed here tbh. You've done exactly the right thing and got a call from a hand that couldn't really pass.

If he's on the flush draw here he might pass but I doubt it. If he's got nothing he passes.

This was just a cooler for your oppo imo but then turned in to one for you when he binked the river.
