1st hand in a €50 HU STT.

My pre-flop is unusual oop. I would usually check this hand in the bb, especially 1st hand. If I was going to raise I'd raise 4x not 3. But I think it's okay with uber-small blinds against what we assume is a weak opponent.

Only read on opponent is Sharkscope based: 400 games, -11% ROI, avg stake €9.

Anyway, otherwise, is my line here okay? And what do we do on the river?

I think standard line is to call, but is there value in shoving, and can we ever fold?

I think you analysed the hand perfectly at the top yourself! I also don't mind raising this hand oop early against essentially a fish.

I think flatting is best on the river

cant fold this spot imo. we get shown a worse flush more than enough times. ace flush he probably raises pre, same with most king flushes. im quite worried about 56 though. i flat and cry when he rivers the house

Okie dokie,

I indeed flat called and he showed 34off. A bit bizaare really. Wondered if I missed some value in not shoving. I hate not wrapping up matches when they are there for the taking cos he's not folding if I shove! But perhaps just being results orientated, as boats and better houses often make this bet too...

An ace high flush would be a shove I think?
