34 runners pub poker taken fairly seriously by the majority of players.

2,000 starting stack, down to 19, 7 at this table blinds at 250/500 I'm BB with just over 4,000 chips

fold  all-in for 1050, fold, button has huge stack and calls, SB folds

button isn't a regular regular and has been playing pretty loose, he's also been running like God on a good run.

Me?

550 to be in a pot with 2850 in it already... over 5 to 1

any two cards?

see the flop and then decide if I want to tangle with the chip leader?

or are there hands that I should be folding?

5/1 is fantastic odds to call with.  Bear in mind for another time that the rest of your chips only get paid at 1/1 though ~ plenty go skint because they called 'for the odds' and then pissed the rest of a decent stack away at even money h/u.  However, in this example with structure as it is, don't think folding is an option.

any two cards?
pretty much here.  Although depending on your holding, there are different ways to play it.  You could call and evaluate on the flop.  You could stop'n'go (call and shove regardless on the flop) or you could jam pre.  Some of that will depend on how trifling a call the extra 4k would be for the big stack.  Some of that will depend on how you think the big stack perceives your play.  A lot of it depends on the fact that you are in crap shoot territory, with 68k chips in play you actually have an above average stack!  First player is just about to get blinded out so he doesn't have to have much, big stack prolly isn't getting cute with a big hand here in a pub league (no disrespect to a pub league, I've never played in one) so you can certainly think about widening your jamming range.

see the flop and then decide if I want to tangle with the chip leader?
make your mind up now imo.  check-folding the flop isn't great.  I know some players might decide to simply fold and get busy with atc behind the button with 3.5k or so, but if other players at the table are switched on, from here on in you aren't going to get many chances to be first in to a pot as everyone realises the blinds are biting them on the arse.

or are there hands that I should be folding?jamming
That's the spirit.

There's not many hands I flat call with here, on the bubble fair enough, not even halfway through the tourney no point...

Because the big stack has called the dynamics and pot odds are completely messed up, over-shove with anything decent, fold everything else imo...

I agree with this. You mention any 2 cards to call. I'm struggling to think of any 2 that I would call with - unless I decided to get tricky with a premium... even then I probably still shove it.

I had  two spades... and decided to see the flop and then decide if I want to tangle with the chip leader. If the flop is all red and high cards I check/fold and still have c3,000 to double/triple up later

flop was  Two Diamonds

Big stack checked, I shoved, he folded - disappointing that, I was hoping he'd got a Q rather than the A 9 he had called with.

Original raiser showed  and questioned my decision-making process rather forcefully after the board gave him no rescue 9
