AA at the Vic
«

£300 freezeout at the Vic on thursday, Blinds 100-200, I have 17k from starting stack of 7k. UTG Jeff Rodgers limps for 200 (10k), MP (12k) & cut off (10k) do the same. Been at the table about 10 mins so don't know much about the MP & CO.
Round to me in the SB with AA. What is the right amount to raise?

i would go 1.2k. Think any less and u go 4 way oop too often. Also, a raise to about 1300 here will look like u r just trying tyo punish the limpers and should net u a caller

We normally take a similar line mantis but to me this is a screaming check and see what happens. If we pot it, is it with the intention of coming for the rest of it if re-raised? We have about 80BBs here - are we really going to get that in with 1 pair? If not, surely it is better to either take my line and check or at least bet less than the pot for the same result?

One of the guys is a station and the other didn't really have a hand pre. So there is a decent chance it goes check check...and then the turn could well be an impossible card to play. If a bet does come in the board is so draw happy you're not really gonna know what that bet means...and if that bet comes from the c/o especially you're caught in a tough spot. I want to bet enough vs their stacks to either commit them to a push or make them feck off on what isn't an ideal flop. I don't really want to bet less and face calls in this spot. Admittedly tricky though.
