Just recently the phone went and an automated message told me 'Congratulations you have just won a cruise,now press 9 to recieve the details'...................Huh??


i hung up


bad beat or wise decision?

never had one of those before>??

i like the ones that phone you up and tell you that the call they are making to you is a "free call" too damm right it better be

you can phone your phone provider up and tell them that you want taken off the list so companies cant call you.well BT does

being ex-directory doesnt meam you dont get these calls. companies get your number from other sources too, totally against data protection in most cases, but meh

yup. Similar sort of thing happens in magazines with their scratchcards. 9 in 10 times you will win a 'holiday' or something but have to dial a number which charges £7 a minute for 11 minutes and you get a free ferry ride to France or something on the 22nd September 2012.
