MTT, plenty left.  Average about 8k which rather nicely is what we have roughly.

Blinds 100/200 no antes.  Folds to me in the highjack with  two hearts so I raise it up to 500 and the small blind calls.  He's playing about 5.5k

Flop  , he checks and I cbet 700 into the 1200 pot with my flush draw and he reraises to 2k

No particular reads on him, what would you do here?

Yeah shove immediately - i shove here with a lot less than a fd.

Obviously this has to vary on the opponent and buy in size of the comp but more often than not he's raising you with air as you're so unlikely to have missed that flop. Our all in might make him lay down a lot of small/medium pairs too and we've got outs if he does call.

Shove and cross fingers he calls with a smaller flush draw.

shove shove shove

- he is folding - any 4, maybe some PPs, probably 5-6

- he is calling with -  some PPs (which you are racing against)
any 7 (you are ~70/30 underdog)
flush draws (which you are super-massive against ~80/20)
                            house (gutted)

so even if he calls you are probably racing against his range

no point in calling - what do you do if the turn bricks? plus you lose F/E

Cheers for the replies.  I wanted to check my thinking.

I was never calling, just not sure whether to shove or fold.  Wasn't sure what to make to the checkraise tbh.    My thinking was that a 7 was unlikely as was a 4 unless he'd just made a house, but then why check raise, just call and get it in later on.   I'd expect an over pair to lead out here for some sort or at least check/raise for a decent amount more than the 2k he raised too.   A mid between pair like 5's or 6's or a flush draw seemed likely to me.  I shoved and expected him to fold but he called with a weaker flush draw,

Did you win?

No point posting a non-results orientated hand here.

Nobody else does.

Silo never wins, particularly when a big favourite.

JJ was an easy results orientated pass.

Will you ever learn?
