omg !!! ...talk about memory lane .
That pic of the pony and caravan could of been us and our pony as kids , think we called her Rawnie , or was that our dog
We lived in a caravan very similar to the pic , plus the boys slept in a tourer next to it .

i cant resist telling you a story about a horse.when i was 17  my friends had horses and i helped look after them. because i didnt have one of my own, my friends big sister said i could foster one of hers. Buster! i loved that horse and took it out for a couple of weeks just wlking to try to get it fit and used to me. it had not been ridden in a while.
One day i tacked up buster and 2 of my friends and i went went riding in this huge field with a small loch at the bottom/ we were cantering down the hil, into the water and galloping the horses back up the hill. on my second ascent, buster went nuts and starting bucking and threw my off. ouch!!!! my friends were is stiches at me, especially because buster didnt really want to play and now i was off!! i got my own back when i lay there still as stone. they appraoched and stopped laughing. when they got off their horses and came down to where i was 'unconcious' i jumped up and should 'ya buggars!!'  it was such a good day......................

Yes Red ... i remember a few words , but as ive gotten older my memory isnt what it used to be lol.

Have many happy memorys though , Dads a Romany and mums a Gorgia , makes me laugh that word , moved into a house when i was 13 as mum couldnt cope with 6 kids in a small caravan , cried my eyes out when we moved into a house .

The Romany language is slowly dying, I speak a little less than my parents, my kids speak a little less than me, In fact the form we use now is called "Poggardi Jib" which means "Broken words"

Following RED's lead of older photos, these were taken in 1997 at the Soccer AM studios after I'd been on there a part of the 'Fans of The Week'.  This was 2 games into Barnsley's one and only Premiership season when we were sat comfortably in 9th place.  The next day we lost 0-6 at home to Chelsea on Super Sunday (prompting the infamous 'We're gonna win 6-5' chant on live TV) and it proved to be the highest position we reached all season.

I love these pics for many reasons:
1) Watching football was fun back then
2) It was a top day out
3) Hells Bells is lurvely!

PS: Yes I am wearing fake tan.  Thanks to our 'Just Like Watching Brazil' chant they decided to make us Brazil fans of the week, hence we all went to make-up pre-show for a David Dickinson!
