Following RED's lead of older photos, these were taken in 1997 at the Soccer AM studios after I'd been on there a part of the 'Fans of The Week'.  This was 2 games into Barnsley's one and only Premiership season when we were sat comfortably in 9th place.  The next day we lost 0-6 at home to Chelsea on Super Sunday (prompting the infamous 'We're gonna win 6-5' chant on live TV) and it proved to be the highest position we reached all season.

I love these pics for many reasons:
1) Watching football was fun back then
2) It was a top day out
3) Hells Bells is lurvely!

PS: Yes I am wearing fake tan.  Thanks to our 'Just Like Watching Brazil' chant they decided to make us Brazil fans of the week, hence we all went to make-up pre-show for a David Dickinson!

I was sad (and embarrassed) enough to go my local papershop and buy the edition of penthouse she was in, was doubly gutted after that teenage throwback experience to discover she didn't even get her boobs out...it was penthouse for christs sake! I was unable to pre-check as they had it in the old sealed bag.
She did flash her bum so she obviously preferred it to her boobs.

Also your football chant reminded me of a similar one following SAFC, losing 5-0 the opposition starting chanting "we want 6", so we drowned them out with "we want 1".

Quality bit of bumping that Zed - made my day seeing those pics again!

We had the first Blonde Bash a few days after I posted this.  When Colchester Kev met me his opening line was something along the lines of "I almost kissed you then, just from the knowledge of where those lips had once been!"

It was ironside that deleted them all a few months back it was to save space
