a guy  who i done some work for here in cyprus owes me €3,000 and wants to pay me with his credit card ,ayone know how he can do this?
i have bank details he can transfer too.,.,.,.,,but he just said can i take payment from his credit card if he gave me his number?
any ideas please,,its ok the card isnt stolen he just wants to pay by credit card i didnt like to ask why.....,,.,
or has someone got a poker account here that can load €3,000 onto and ship to my account on stars,i would give them a few quid for doing it,obiously have to be someone very trusing,or someone i know on here...

You need to be a merchant to accept credit card payments.

He could pay you via PayPal, but for payments that size I don't think it's that simple and your account will need to be verified (not sure though).

paypal is probably your best option

or western union, im sure you can use CC to pay for transactions but it costs money and you get cash when you go to your local western union place, most travel agents do western union

Hey sofa.

You will probably have to use paypal. Its not hard to set up a business account and get it verified for larger withdrawls but they will charge you almost 5% i believe.

Theres a few other companies that do it but paypal is the biggest. Nochex is one that comes to mind.

Be careful to follow the ts and cs to the letter though as they are very biased towards the buyer in disputes.

Alternatively some credit card companies will do bank transfers to current accounts which could be a way round it depending on who is card is with.

Unless you will be taking payments in the future you definately do not want to be setting up a merchant account and processing provider as this will be a monthly contract.
