I wouldn't get too excited.  One Lad promoting a Bill doesn't get it done.  He needs a bucket load of backing from other members of the government and he'll probably struggle to get that support.  Especially when the original Bill was part of a larger package and they'd have to reverse the lot to fix the online poker part.
