Brill film,  thought the script was pretty good.  Some similarities with Star Wars in regard storyline. 

Thought the guy that played bones was pretty spot on.  Chekov started to rritate tovards the end

4/5 here...but deffo more a Star Wars style, ie an action film, 1st half a lot better than the 2nd I thought as old Spock is a bit over done and just randomly pops up.

IMAX screen is just WOW. Worth a second look just because of the screen.

Given his rant about Jar Jar Binks in his sitcom Spaced, kinda ironic that he has now essentially become Jar Jar Binks in this Star Trek film.

Given his rant about Jar Jar Binks in his sitcom Spaced, kinda ironic that he has now essentially become Jar Jar Binks in this Star Trek film.

I would hardly go as far as to say he is the Jar jar Binks of Star trek tbh, the first scotty was a Canadian, this time they chose an Englishman, its a lots bloody closer than the original cast.

As for his mannerisms and ability to play the character he seemed to convey the dynamic  traits that we came to enjoy form the overall character development of Scotty.

IMHO good job Simon Pegg, he played a better Scotsman than Mel Gibson did and Mel wore a kilt.

jarjarbinks indeed, that collossus of a blunder will always haunt George Lucas even when he counts his Billions of $$$$$

I actually thought he was excellent as Scotty- accent was pretty much spot on(though I read his girlfriend is glaswegian so might have helped) and was a funny character, if not slightly spoofy feeling. I actually thought most of the characters had a kinda tongue in cheek star trek persona but that just added to it IMO

Bruce Willis is a ghost in the Sixth Sense.  Nothing major though.
