sigh objection to Londonderry fail.  Is it a fail because it should be 'Derry' or coz it's in the north?

pointless objection on the grounds that the lists provided are inaccurate

Pakistan - 5 or 6th largest population on the planet where virtually every dish is accompanied by rice - but because they don't produce figures they dont appear on the list

http://www.fas.usda.gov/psdonline/psdReport.aspx?hidReportRetrievalName=World+Rice+Production%2c+Consumption%2c+and+Stocks&hidReportRetrievalID=681&hidReportRetrievalTemplateID=7

two lists i looked at after didnt even list them - though they were dated 2003/2004

You tend to find that chapati's are the more staple part to the dish rather than rice.  I was surprised when i went to my husbands family home the first couple of times and there was no rice at all served.  But shed loads of chapati's (hmmmmmmmmm).    Rice is only cooked about once a week - gutted I was lol.

usa deffo sheep answer as answer most commonly given.  doesn't say anywhere sheep score is most commonly given correct answer.  in this instance, and this instance alone, I'm happy to accep the QM's interpretation on this one Cheesy

sigh objection to Londonderry fail.  Is it a fail because it should be 'Derry' or coz it's in the north?

I will explain the deciders on this one.  I was originally failing it mainly as it's not in what I consider to be Ireland.  However, as I failed to say Eire or Republic of Ireland, I went with my second reaction when I first read their answers...it's feckin DERRY!!!!

I consulted a number (half a dozen, there or thereabouts) of teachers in the area.  They all sided with ye on the Ireland argument, however they concurred with me on the Derry vs. Londonderry issue.  So there you have it
