to be quite honest this question has really got to me. I've fretted about it, thoguht of possible right answers but realised the question as framed is virtually unanswerable due to the (no table service) codicil,as there are so few with not table service whatsoever across at least part of the chain

Logically of course you are right, but participants can only go from there own experience. When these differ so broadly across the same chain then I feel the question is a thorough let down to a RSQ

I suppose Little Chef and Wimpy can both be passes or both be fails but you can't pass one and fail the other

Halal fast food is a fail, as the question didn' specify Halal so that's Dixie's out. Especially as I ahve never heard of it

Harry Ramsden's is a good one, though table service IS available in 5 of their restaurants including two airport locations. I rang their investor relations department to ask. So technically that's a fail too. In case anyone wants to double check Head Office Telephone Number: 020 7543 3461

I think that leaves Spud you like, I refuse to call it Spud U like, as the only possible corrct answer.

Perhaps so, but the question was not Precisely framed

I contacted The Halal Food Authority which is a voluntary, non-profit making organisation. It was launched in 1994 to monitor and regulate red meat and poultry in UK. The HFA introduced a unique system of identifying halal meat from non-halal, by putting marking or tagging for authenticity of halal on the carcasses, soon after slaughter at the slaughterhouses.

They think Laxie's quiz stinks too.
