right i have new neighbours ,its my brothers house and he rents it out .
the problem is this young couple who have a baby at 18 months old .
the fact is they have party's till 2 in the morning after 11.0 they turn the music down ,which is`nt very good for my daughter who`s been sitting her Sat's .the other night they was arguing at 4 in the morning ,i flipped and went mad after 2 minutes all went quite .
they tried to tell me it was`nt ther fault that the baby woke up .it was the noise that made it wake up
the next day when i saw the boyfriend i told him in not so many words ,if he did this again i would rip his face off.
he rang the police and they took me down to the nick shop fo 2 hours ,no charge ,the thing is i can`t say anything to him now .
he`s now taking the piss .he repairs cars on the front of the house .till about 10 at night .
i`v just found out that he signs on the dole .
do i grass on him to the dole place . ( i`v never grassed on any one in my life )
or get some on to sort him out . (theres a lot of lads who ow me favours )
i know this is not a question you get asked every day but i don`t know what to do .
thx

If you get someone to "sort him out" I can't think there would be any way the police would suspect it was you who initiated it. Apart from the earlier threats of course...
Just because you threatened him and ended up in the nick for a bit doesn't mean that your right to enjoy your property in peace and quiet goes out the window. Take the legal steps open to you:
-find out who his landlord is (probably the council). The landlord has a duty to ensure that he is not causing a disturbance.
-contact your council's noise abatement team. They will come round and take sound recordings and issue him with warnings etc. They can't do a lot about screaming babies but they can do something to stop the shouting and certainly the music (seizure of equipment etc).
-Make a log of all disturbances and record them. Provide these to the council noise abatement team.
*If there isn't a council noise abatement team, contact the police.
If the car noise was bothering me and he is repairing them while on the dole, yeah I would shop him for sure. I'd personally probably shop him anyway after he reported the threat. If I made a lot of noise and a neighbour came round and threatened to rip my face off I'd be pretty alarmed but could understand his issues enough not to shop him, that was really crappy of him.
Really crap neighbourly relations aren't nice, they'll be with you in spirit for most of the time that you're there.

get 1 of your boys to sort him out, either get them to have words with him or break his face
the worst thing is having such neighbours imo

Don't grass him up to the dole people.

the only thing that will work is to chap the door when their having a party, pick the biggest guest there knock him out along with the dickhead of a boyfriend. no one will want to go near your house for a party after that. taking the legal step you may get peace and quiet once the kid is a teenager then it will be the kid having the parties.

He must have a contact number. Get in touch with him and get him to kick the fookers out.
Dont grass him up to the dole as much as you probably want to though.
If this fails go round and kick the absolute shit out of him, they might give you 3 months inside but at least you will get some peace and quiet

I don't see how there is a "principle" involved in not reporting someone for benefit fraud. That's your and my tax money he's stealing. If he walked in every house on your street and nicked a quid out of every wallet you'd probably report him to the police, wouldn't you?
