Let's say I lend you £1 so you can get you can of cheap cider, it's Jolly Giro day coming up, so you can pay me a fiver back. If you don't, I want £20 next week, or else it gets worse. Risking a small amount to get a big amount back, it's bread and butter to the loan sharks on the estates.

Boldie, don't do it. These loan sharks are out and out crooks, with no sense of responsibility, they think of no one but themselves and they will do everything they can to rip you off for as much as possible. You are much better turning to a bank to borrow.
