I'd imagine the ESPN execs are down on their hands and knees praying for Ivey and Esfandiari to make the final table.

They may even have made a little shrine with photos and makeshift effigies of the two of them

I doubt it very much, this for them will only be a tiny pin prick on their yearly airing schedule of which the main US sports dominate. Although it might make the difference on how much airtime they give it next year.

Great effort by the brits this year. James Akenhead was unlucky in one big pot yesterday when the guy hit 2 pair to James (presumably overpair on a Q high board)

Woodley made me laugh when he shoved the day earlier with 92 suited vs 88 and hit a 9 on the flop to enable him to run deeper into the event.

Jeff Duvall is doing well. I know Neil Channing often has a % of Jeff and rates him very highly.

Hope James Akenhead can rebuild and get to the November Nine.

Really enjoying it this year. Seebok has been grinding well and Ivey is pure class.

Should be a very interesting Final Table - no one seems to be able to hang onto the chiplead though.
ElkY busted when he was significantly ahead, Matt Affleck the Day 4 chip leader has busted out and Warren Zackey (Day 5 chipleader)the
South African blew up his 5m chips and is back in the pack as a relative shortstack.

What a marathon event this is - (even if Days 3 and 4 were quite short)
Whoever can survive Day 7 down to 27 players and Day 8 Down to 9 players
deserves a healthy payday and the 'fame' 'kudos' that comes with it.

Gl Jeff and James.
Oh and my outside picks are Fabrice Soulier and Joe Seebok to make the final 9.

Howard Lederer will probably offer to coach everyone else at the final table for free if he does
