This seems to have escaped any mention on here and I feel that our boys are deserving of mucho respect.

It was a two-legged affair and in the first leg the result was: Arsenal 4, Liverpoo 1

The second leg was much closer but it was at Anfield ending: Liverpoo 1, Arsenal 2

Resulting in an aggregate score of: Arsenal 6, Liverpoo 2, a bit of a trouncing I think everyone will agree Smiley

I watched the first leg & some of the Arsenal players looked really good. Some real talent there.

I went to the Premier League Academy Cup Final at WHL. It was Spurs against Arsenal and Arsenal's youngsters were in a different league it seemed. They were very impressive and the Spurs lads didn't have a decent chance all game Even when the Arsenal lads went down to 10 men, they still nearly scored one of the goals of the season when they moved the ball from defence to attack before hitting the crossbar.

The match finished 1-0 but it was the biggest 1-0 ownage I've ever seen.
