Off on hols in July for 11 days to sunny Ibiza. Whats the best/cheapest way for me to get online from my laptop? No wireless at the hotel.
Only be playing/browsing not downloading if that makes any difference. Cheers.

Holiday .... Take watch off on arrival at hotel, turn mobile off, stuff both at back of sock draw.

Do not take a lap top with you, its a HOLIDAY, family during day, few beers and a bit of quality time with the Mrs in the evenings.

Fk, I need one of these holiday things, I am beginning to forget what they are like.

Kev's last few 'holidays' @ DTD...

''Holiday .... Forget watch, get lost on way to hotel, turn mobile on, stuff porn at back of sock draw.

Do take a lap top with you, sleep during day, few JD's and a bit of quality time with the Barry Neville in the evenings.

If there's wifi nearby: https://secure.connect-pay.com/bt/voucher_selection.php?type=i £28 for 500 minutes

If you have a mobile broadband dongle (some networks require it to be pay monthly e.g. Vodafone don't allow roaming on PAYG):

Three broadband: £3/MB in Spain

T-Mobile: £1.50/MB in the EU, £7.50/MB outside

Vodafone: £9.99/24 hours (max 50MB)

O2: buggered if I can find it on their site

Given you could easliy get through 200MB in a couple of hours, I'd go with Kev's advice.

Yeah unless you can find some wifi dont do it.

I checked my emails and played 10 STT's in germany on an orange dongle.

Cost me work £200

Can your phone handle HSDPA/3G? If not you could get one, they're quite cheap. Get a usb/bluetooth cable that allows your laptop to use the phone's connection. Then buy a PAYG SIM in Spain (Vodaphone probably), bring ID. You can buy them online too

Get one with a flatrate daily net tarrif if poss. Your phone needs to be unlocked.
