Hate everything about the way villain has played the hand thusfar BTW..Raise too big pre and the shove on the flop is simply ridic.

What did you think he had pre when you called and what was your plan for post flop action at the time?

If there are 6 players left and you have 1/3 of the chips in play you have a big advantage. But if you use your chips to call oop with 6-6 pre-flop and then check call villain's shove with this small pair you haven't used that advantage at all. If you take the initiative and raise this guy pre you make the hand much simpler for yourself, you play to the strength of your situation, and you give the tough decisions to your oppo instead.

Wouldnt have even called pre @ 3.5x but since you did the only thing you can continue with is a 6 on the flop. You flush draw doesnt matter, he's playing a big pair and is evens that one of them is a spade. Auto fold for me!

Punish his stupid high raise by 3 betting the **** out of him.

Stacks look about right for a shove. You'll get him to lay down a lot of hands that are beating you and a good few that you're racing against.
