had my arm twisted to attend the sky poker final. it did not take much twisting, as it was held at the home of poker, DUSK TILL DAWN. so thought i would make my 4th visit
OLD FACES
.i gotta say, this place is the dogs bollox, why can't we have one up here(its grim up north).had a chat with the main man, yogi, who assures me DTD aint closing any time soon.in fact talkin of former bpool dealers the gorgeous Tania was moonlighting there, several of the lads (the cream i guess) and Clare seems to have put weight on, but she's on a crash diet in six weeks, hope it all goes well Clare..yes she's expecting.
THE POKER
went in as an alternate, had very high hopes of taking this down.i was sat at the same table all day, and the majority were Internet players who are leagues apart from live players.my stack was up and down like a brides nightie. and to be fair, not that i'm complaining, its not an excuse, king kong was the best i saw in 9 hours play. i have some tricks at the table, it helps if you get the occasional monster. i had created a couple of enemies at the table, one of them finally had enough, called with crap and took me out. A5 v 77....you had to be there.in 9 hours play, 7 different dealers, 0 mistakes were made. finished 82nd

the place is mint, if you ain't been yet, you dunno what you are missing,i am planning another sorte very soon, until then its blacpool and the rest. stay cool guys
