As played I bet 8,500, he monster dwell pushes and I call, not leaving behind what's in the middle.

Fire away. I play (or have played) these drawing hands so poorly, so passively so often, that I've begun to open out and play them to pot build/win big when I hit. I am all ears, particularly re bet sizing and what position I want to get to for when I hit, if that makes sense

would rather a CR on the flop tbh given stack sizes. b/3b is cool too but oop turn and river will be problematic given the equity flip of our monster draw on the turn.

bet slightly more on the turn so you can jam the river when you brick. he will be in a tough spot and 3 barrels>>>>>2. On turn i love leading again, he has a tonne of 1pr+gutters/str8draws in his range that will usually call a checkraise and will be good some of the time.

i wonder if a case could be made for checking the river, he will bet smaller flushes, if he has missed you give him the chance to bluff, he may bet some weaker hands as you said "prone to applying max pressure post flop", if he were a more timid showdown bound player then obv you need to bet

I don't think he has a jack, or I'd have expected a raise on the flop.  I think he's most likely got QT or a flush draw.

I'm really not keen on the river bet tbh,i don't see many players making this kinda bet without having close to the nuts(or being pretty advanced player) it's like your begging for a call and don't want to shove all in incase he doesn't call.As alex said betting more on the turn so you can shove the river is best way to play it imo.Good bet sizing ftw

I actually think betting the river has a lot of merit. There aren't really many drawing hands that have missed here to think villain will bluff with air. I'd prefer checking if I held K-Q and the river was a red 3 cos it gives a wider range of likely hands the chance to bluff.

From the river options you gave us Tighty...value bet? push? stopper bet? check-call? check for him to bluff?...the most hideous choice for your hand is the stopper bet. WTF! You've bet the flop and the turn chasing your draw...you hit the 3rd nuts on the river...and you consider putting in a stopper bet? To stop what from happening exactly? It would be a horrible bet selection for your actual hand...so I think that's exactly what you should do. Mondatoo says the bet looks like it's begging to be called, but i'm not so sure...wouldn't any stopper bet look like it's begging to be called? You'd certainly prefer that stopper bet to be called rather than raised if you had pairs/2pairs/sets etc. I would like to see the bet size even smaller, maybe 1/3 pot, cos surely you'd vb more after hitting gin. If you put in the stopper you deffo look like a flopped hand and you offer spewy villain an easy chance to represent the flush by raising and you have a better chance to stack him altogether imo. If you check and IF villain does decide to bluff a random hand with no showdown value he will fold when you jam so how much more do you really make longterm?
