I have just bought a new desk top computer today and wanted to know what screen resolution i should have it set on, this writting is way too small and hurts to try read it...cheers

oh btw it shows 16 bit and 32 bit

16 and 32 bit is the colour depth... if you have "true colour" select that for colour.

Screen res should be at least 1024 x 768 to be able to do anything useful.

I use 1280 x 1024 on a 19" TFT

cant get 2 screens on  at 75Hz though, may have to reduce to 60 and up the resolution to get 2 on

edit: oh yeah you need 32bit.

Right click on the desktop, choose properties, then choose settings Smiley

Adjust at will.

That's good advice - 1024x768 is an absolute minimum (most web pages are designed for that at least)

 If it is still making your eyes hurt, I recommend binoculars Smiley

Where would I find "Desktop"?

I've tried "View" - "TEXT SIZE" - it's set at "largest".

Hold down the control key and use the wheel on your mouse to adjust text size.
