just to clarify, the initial bet was struck tongue in cheek.the wife of course refused any involvement.and if i had have lost i would have fought to the death.anyway, after i lost the first game, several squaddies started rubbing there hands and the atmosphere changed.i put the foot down and cleared the table twice.as i said i could play a bit.that was the end of that. take it any way you like, make what you like of it, thats how it happened. me and the wife look back andLOL.its a funny story, i guess my sense of humour is a bit to extreme, and shall tone it down

i dont think the story its self had any problems but your tone in the replys seem to be looking to start a fight, you are right the wife wouldnt of taken any part but the squaddies would of taken back the money you had already won and maybe given you a beating.

Why post it at all except to get a reaction?

How did that go? Was it a +EV bet?

I lost my soul but instead of settling I let the Devil crack one of on my missus' tits and he seemed happy enough with that.

Very respectful there Tom, calling him an idiot whilst at the same time using a capital 'I'. A better class of insult.
