I would take Liverpool, Utd & Chelsea still over that team in a 2 legged game...

tevez has gone, ronaldo gone. i just can't see utd winning the prem next year.i would not say for certain liverpool will, but the man utd team ain't what it once was.
van de sar, not bad but he's no schmicheal
o'shea, average
neville, past his sell by
evra, quality
ferdinand, quality
brown,average
vidic,quality but makes mistakes
fletcher, average
carrick,average
scholes, over the top
giggs,over the top
park,overated I
rooney,ugly hothead
have i missed anyone?
not bad at the back, midfield has nothing. they need a cantona, keane type in there, up front they need to spend. i can not see them winning a raffle next year. fergy should have retired at the top. the way real are spending they have the champions league sawn up,liverpool should win the prem, the fa cup is up for grabs.
just to clarify, i'm a rovers man, i do admire good football, just can't see man u playing any next season

rooney is still a good player
he will have a chance next season to play in his prefered option as a striker

park has never been highly rated been underrated for years and every team need a few players that work their socks off, like Park does, and yet still have skillz.

carrick is a good player imo good passing

and i think man utd will buy some players to bolster their team.

I dont think real will have the champions league in the bag already there are still some good teams out their barce chelsea liverpool man utd the milans.

FYP.
like i said park has never been highly rated
i dont think he is skillful
just puts in alot of effort

I still dont like any of these sides. The centre half pairing is a problem. I'm not convinced on Metzelder. Gago is not good enough for Real Madrid. The fight for the left back's shirt is debatable too. Drenthe, Torres, Marcelo, Heinze.

Right not I'd go for a new centre half and a new left back.

They also need to sell en masse.

RVN
Robben
Raul
Guti
Gago
De La Red
Drenthe
Torres
Heinze
Salgado
Sneijder
Van Der Vaart

I would guess at least 6 or 7 of these will go this summer. Somehow I think Raul and Guti will be staying though!

Raul will probably never leave Real.

RVN has been injured a lot but he's still the best poacher they have IMO and with Ronaldo and Kaka putting the balls in I sure wouldn't sell him, especially for the 1.5 mill everyone in the press keeps mentioning.

its true that making a prediction before the transfer window is pretentious, i just can't see who man utd can buy?........all the good players are sold or settled.utd's midfield is shite, they need to buy 5/6 players. they need a young ballack, they need two strikers. they need a miracle. there are i'm sure some skilled brazilians up for sale, they just don't seem to fit in utd's team.

who can they buy?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh??

Two words as to why they'll sell RVN

True....if he comes. Not a done deal yet. I also still wouldn't let RVN go for just over 1mill though.

There is no one "name" they can buy but there are several good to great players they can use to strengthen the squad.

After Valencia and Benzema it has to be a central midfielder though.

Park, Fletcher and Anderson are all good but similar. Hargreaves also. Carrick is more creative but they need a new Scholes.

Baron, what do you think if Liverpool went for Robben and what sort of price would Real let him go for?

I have heard talk of Agger playing at LB this season, would obv be happy if we get a good price for Dossena.

Id like to pick Kevin Nolan up he would be an upgrade from Lucas for me and at 2.5m would be good value.

Still think we need another striker i think Owen would be a bad move

I'm not Baron, but Robben would be a good buy for us to strengthen the left.  Not sure Riera is consistent enough for a title-challenging side.

He's have to cut out his diving though, and he runs like a camp t-rex - but no doubting that he's a quality winger.

Agger is a centre back first and foremost - if Aurelio's fit he should be the automatic first choice at LB, with Insua as his understudy.  Owen - meh, we wouldn't pay the wages he'd demand.

Only reason Chelsea didn't win this year was because Essien wasn't in the team at the start of the year.

This year we will blitz the Premiership. I'd take bets that we'll finish 5 points ahead of UTD.
